Sick, Sick, Sick
Well, it's official... I've caught the Child's cold. Which means that I'll be twice as sick for twice as long as he's been.
Yesterday, feeling the cold coming on, I planted myself on the couch all afternoon. It was lovely. I watched "Thoroughly Modern Millie" (horribly awful asian stereotypes, but I do love Julie Andrews) and took a short nap after RJ got home.
When I woke up, the Child was sitting with RJ at the computer, playing and chatting. When he saw that I was awake, he came and snuggled with me. And talked. And talked some more.
I said, "Buddy, it's ok to be quiet and not talk sometimes."
He said, "No I don't want to be quiet. I'm not, Mama. I'm not. Not. I'm not quiet. I'm not. Mama? I'm not quiet. I'm not."

Fish Watch '07
Yeah, we're down to four fish.
Thankfully, my son does not fully grasp the counting concept. He counts them, "Eight, nine, ten!"

All Better!
Look at what my fabulous husband did!
Before...
And also yesterday, I accidently messed up the front bumper. It got caught on a curb and popped out on the sides. Or something. I'm not super sure what happened. Only that it was an accident.
After...
He fixed the bumper, replaced the fender, changed the grill, and put new side mirrors on.
In other news...
The Child is sick, and we're going to look at more houses in about 20 minutes.

Additions to our Family
RJ brought goldfish home from work. I think they were centerpieces for a function last night?
Anyways, we have five freaked out goldfish now.
Their names are:
Fred
Frank
Bob
Bartholomew
KC
The Child named KC. I asked him what he wanted to name one, and he said, "8, 9, 10, K, C!" So we decided that KC would be easiest.
We got them fish food, and some miniature fake Grecian ruins for their bowl. They seemed to be a little less freaked out with something to hide around.
